Why Design?
“Because I arranged wildflowers for fall fairs as grade schooler.
Manipulated dirt and twigs into micro-communities for insects and amphibians.
I build snow forts and cherish the wrath of the fiercest seasons.
I ride bikes, slide on snow and run barefoot through mud, rivers and over roots.
What I’ve learned is that we must prioritize the preservation and restoration of the natural environment above our own immediate human needs… because I’m terrified of what might happen if we don’t.”
